What is WCWT 107.3?
WCWT is a non-profit low-powered FM radio station located in Centerville, Ohio. WCWT-FM’s educational radio program was founded by Ken Carper and Roy Grimes in 1971, originally beginning operations in the third floor bathroom of Centerville’s Magsig Middle School. In 1975, the station was moved to it’s current location; Centerville High School. Today, WCWT is managed and run by students in the Communication Arts Program.
Meet Our Teacher!
From college intern at CJAD in Montreal to Executive Producer at CFRB in Toronto – Mrs. Tricia Rapoch has over 15 years of media experience in major markets. Twenty years ago, her husband, Terry, was relocated to the U.S. by his multi-national firm. At the time, their three children were in Centerville City Schools, and Mrs. Rapoch began volunteering in the District. When the broadcasting position opened up, Mrs. Rapoch applied and has been teaching the Communication Arts/Broadcast Management program at CHS for 15 years.
